X-Large Whole Elk Antler Dog Chew

I can sum it up by saying that our dogs play very well together but this is the ONE toy/treat that we need to supervise BECAUSE they will steal each other's antlers. They love these more than any chewie we've ever given them and they're spoiled and have had several. Their old deer antlers are a distant memory when the elk antlers come out. We'll be buying more!

Marlene is my new puppy Plott Hound Lab mix. She is a powerful chewer and I bought an Elk antler for her abouit 6 months ago after spending big bucks every week on Nylabone chews which she would destroy in ten minutes. The one I bought her is almost gone and this is a Christmas present for her. I know she is just gonna love it. I am glad I found this company as it it far less expensive that the Pet Store in my area.

My 60 lb. Goldadore started on it the second I gave it to her. She greatly prefers it over her nylabones. I recommend this highly! Shipping was very fast.

Excellent choice for my young large 75 pound Yellow Lab girl. She knows when I bring the shipment package in the house. She just waits for me to open it. Once she has it, I have no worries of her chewing on other items in the house hold.

These chews were much TOO large. I would have rather had 2 chews for this price but half as big. I didn't realize this price was for 1 chew. I have large dogs but these were too large and too heavy for them! What do you offer instead for me? Pls respond. lizaras@roadrunner.com

My dog LOVES this antler chew. He's a 100 lb. Dogo Argentino and can pretty much decimate any toy within seconds. Last winter a deer shed its antlers in my yard and when I rescued my dog in February and found that no toy lasted an hour, I gave him the antler to see what he'd do. He loved it and took a couple of weeks to chew it up. So, I got him another at a local pet store. This time it was a bigger size. He loved that and chewed it up over several weeks also. But my local store ran out! I did a search online and found a very informative post that Corey wrote. I followed the link and ended up here. SO GLAD I DID! I couldn't afford the biggest size, so asked for the biggest large you could send me and received an antler that was almost a foot long. Thank you so much for that! Before I could even get it out of the box, my dog was dancing around. You've never seen such a fast "sit" as the one he did when I was holding that antler, waiting to give it to him. He's been gnawing on it ever since. All the info here about the difference between elk and deer antlers is absolutely true. I was surprised at the size of the elk antler after having used those from deer previously. The elk is MUCH better. The inside "marrow" is clearly delicious and the outside "bone" is soft - much softer than the deer antlers I'd been giving him. It is very satisfying for him to be able to make progress in his gnawing every day! He's definitely happier than he was. He gives you a big paw - the highest rating! Thank you so much!!

I know where my 2 dogs are and that they are not in trouble when I give them the antlers to chew. For a 3 year old GSD and a 7 month old Lab, that says a lot! I'll be ordering again for sure.
