Large Split Elk Antler Dog Chew

I'm very impressed with the high quality elk antlers I received. When they say large, they mean large. I have purchased an " extra large" whole elk antler at a pet store and it was like a petite in comparison to Mountaindogchews large split antlers. My two dogs (a white husky mix and a blue heeler mix), the blue heeler, is 9 months old and has to be chewing on something almost all the time. I feel her chewing on a fresh elk antler is much better than chewing on nylon chews and rawhide chews... especially better than chewing on our furniture or shoes. I will definitely order more from Mountaindogchews in the future. They last quite a while, not like a rawhide that my blue heeler can devour in one sitting. The antlers I feel are much better for her chewing needs than any other dog chew toy I've come across. The bone marrow I'm sure is healthier than ingesting rawhide or plastic or nylon chews. I still offer the choices of a variety of chews, for variety, but hype antler chews are my dog's favorite and lasts a good amount of time, saving money in the long run, by not devouring a chew toy in one sitting. Thanks to Mountaindogchews I now have a great healthier and more cost efficient product that I can provide for my precious dogs whom I love so dearly.

My Vizslas love love love these Antlers, they last a long time compared to other chew treats that they use up in a day. I highly recommend these to all my friends who have dogs that love to chew.

Purchased an assortment of Mountain Dog Elk Chews and was dubious about how my dog would take to them. She's a notorious chewer and, usually, the toy is destroyed while I'm recycling the wrapper. But this split is a keeper: she has been happily gnawing away for the whole week and I can barely get her attention to even go for walks. Thank you!

It took nearly a month for delivery, but stuff happens. My dog loves it. No stink, no slime, no splintering. A small, knobby piece piece broke off with active chewing, but as with all things, supervise. Also, your dog's stool may firm up/improve if your dog's digestion isn't the greatest. I supplement my dog's diet with raw food a couple of times a month, so you get the occasional cement chalky poop. On the flipside, I wouldn't worry if that increases slightly with this product.

Well worth the money and much cheaper than the pet store variety. All three of my dogs love them. The little dog loves them the best because it releases some of his high energy and frustration which saves my furniture:))

I bought this in January for a 15 month GSD/Dane mix and it has held up amazingly! He LOVED this thing and it was his favorite and only chosen chew for a week. After three months, it's only barely started to wear down on one end, and he hasn't even cleaned out half of the center yet! He did lose interest in the antler after the initial "new chew! new smell!" week, and it's now in the nightly rotation of chews he gets after dinner. None of the antlers I bought smell at all, which is great. They don't stain either, so I can give it to him in any room we are in. These antlers LOOK appetizing, not like chalky, ghostly looking, more expensive for smaller size! ones in some pet stores. Money well spent! Long lasting, safe chew. Happy dog, Happy owner.

Always a little leery of trying this from a company I have not done business with before, but am completely satisfied. The elk antler chew is exactly what I wanted. Great size and quality for my very aggressive chewer, an English Bully. I would highly recommend!

Our two-year-old rescue is an intense chewer. Finding this product was a house saver! He loves them. Our a 12-year-old enjoys them too when the 2 year old doesn't steal them from him! Great product, great customer service and highly recommend.

Our rescue dog LOVES her new antler chew. When I opened the package, she could hardly contain herself, dancing around me in anticipation. She loves chewing on the marrow in the split antler and it has brought her hours of enjoyment already. Mountain Dog Chews are a FAR superior product than any antlers available at local pet stores, and are actually more reasonably priced. She is a turbo-chewer and splinters off pieces of beef marrow bones, and I have to monitor her closely with those, but the antlers satisfy her chewing needs without splintering. No mess, no smell, and countless hours of chewing pleasure. And outstanding customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! :)
