First off, our Split Antlers are NOT just half versions of the same size whole antler chew. They actually very close in weight/portion to the whole version!

Our Medium Center-Cut Split elk antler Mountain Dog Chews are perfect for dogs between 15 to 95 pounds, depending on your dog's individual chewing temperament. These chews are considered our middle size; however, there is nothing middle-of-the-road about them! They are huge by others' standards! Your dog will love everything about this morsel of a chew and love you (even more!) for treating them to it!

We have found that our Center-Cut Split chews tend to be most favored by dogs – not surprising, as puppies, seniors and all dogs love ready access to the yummy, nutrient-rich marrow. As our antler chews are expertly hand-cut, OUR split chews are a safe and satisfying treat. Dogs literally go nuts over our Center-Cut Split chews!

Offered on a per-piece basis (that is, Qty 1 = 2 chews).

Average Dimensions: Hand selected for consistency, this Medium Center-Cut Split chew generally varies in length from 6 inches to 8 inches and, if not sliced into a single half, would vary in average diameter from 1.75 inches to 2+ inches wide.

Original vs Hickory-Smoked - Mountain Dog Chews are now available in two varieties, ORIGINAL ANTLER (Our Straight-Up Fresh Antler) or our NEW HICKORY SMOKED (Lightly Smoked with real Hickory wood adding the distinct aroma, flavor and color of natural Hickory Smoke. Our Hickory-Smoked antlers are only made after you order, so please allow us an additional day of handling time to smoke the antlers before shipping your order.  Smoked antlers will cost an additional $7.50 per each antler chew. Unfortunately, we DO NOT offer returns on Hickory-Smoked Antlers.

Every antler chew is naturally unique and will vary, accordingly, in size and shape, weight/density and hue of color. However, all Mountain Dog Chews elk antler chews are sourced only from Grade A+ elk antler – the best one can purchase.

As with all consumable chew toys, please supervise diligently your pet when providing this antler chew. Once this chew has become worn down to a size that could pose a choking and/or swallowing hazard to your pet, please discard responsibly, and replace with a new Mountain Dog Chew!

    My pups love these and they last a really long time. We always buy new ones before vacation so they have something to chew in the car that is clean with no mess. We often have a mix of old and new in the house at all time. Thank you!

    Loved it So Much We Bought One for Someone Else too

    This antler is awesome! We bought one for our pup a few months ago. Through Instagram he was involved in a Secret Santa Gift Exchange for dogs. We couldn't think of a better gift for our friends dog than this antler! They loved it too! :) We'll be back for more but it might be a while. It's been a few months and the thing was so big our pup is still working on it and will be for a while. :)

    Love the medium split elk antlers!

    My dogs love the medium split elk antlers. My one complaint about them is that they chew the marrow out of them TOO quickly and then are luke warm on the rest of the antler and they are a mite expensive for me when I have si x dogs to take care of. They make a nice alternative to chewies for them once in a while though and never make any kind of mess on any kind of flooring.........

    Excellent Healthy Chew

    I've been purchasing Mountain Dog Chews a couple of years now and highly recommend them as a fantastic product. It's an excellent value for the money spent. More than that too, this is a brand that has been phenomenally good to my dogs from a health standpoint. Both the wargs love chewies but are plagued by allergies and even the mere sight of a pig ear or bully stick seems to give them the dreaded runs. Mountain Dog products have never given my dogs an upset stomach despite tons of enthusiastic gnawing - they're now the only chews I feel comfortable giving them. I like the medium size antlers for my two, 30lbs and 55lbs. The medium is a good size for both dogs as the large size is a bit big for the 30lb pup.

    Antler Splits = Poodle Heaven!

    Have two 2-year old standard poodles who have never been interested in any chew toys except for the sides of the house. It took under 2 minutes for them to figure out that your medium-sized center cut antler splits were their "raison d'etre" and they have been happily chomping away. I have to resort to subterfuge to take the antlers away at night time - been seriously growled at!

    Our Catahoula LOVES these antler splits. We cannot smell them, but he certainly knew the contents of the shipping bag was his. After he "helped" us open the bag, he was a busy boy enjoying his new treasures. His sparkling white teeth and healthy looking gums make these antlers a must have for our household.

    The medium center cut split kept my dog busy for about five hours before there was nothing left. Minus one star due to how much less the split antler holds up compared to the whole one. However, I've never seen my dog go at another antler like he did with this one, and that includes the burrs and the whole antlers.
